We’ve been here in Kurla West at Shahpur S 1 for a good while now. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but it stays busy. Most days involve looking at broken circuit boards or finding that one specific adapter someone needs for an old TV. It gets pretty loud on this street with all the traffic passing through, but you get used to it after the first few months. We mostly deal with everyday electronics and small repairs that people bring in when they don't want to buy something new. There’s a lot of spare parts stacked up in the back corners which makes the place look a bit cluttered. Sometimes the lights flicker when we test the heavier gear, but that is just how it goes in an old building like this one. We open up early and usually stay until the sun goes down and the street lights take over. People from the neighborhood stop by just to ask questions or see if something can be salvaged. It is a simple setup with a few workbenches and some basic tools. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It's just a place where things get looked at and hopefully fixed. The floor needs a sweep pretty much every hour because of the dust from the road. It is just a regular local shop doing what it does every day, nothing more.
