Rizvi College Of Arts Science & Commerce

We are situated over in Bandra West, right on Carter Road inside the Rizvi Complex. If you know Mumbai, you know this is a pretty famous area near the sea. It gets very lively here, especially in the evenings when people come out to walk along the promenade. Our college is a big part of this neighborhood. The building is quite large and it’s always packed with students from all kinds of backgrounds. Being in Mumbai, space is always a bit tight, but we make it work with our classrooms and labs spread across the floors. You can often hear the sound of the traffic and sometimes even catch a breeze from the ocean if you’re on the upper levels. It’s a fast-paced environment. Students are always rushing between lectures or hanging out in the corridors talking. We have the usual canteen where everyone goes to get tea and snacks during the breaks. The staff stays busy trying to keep everything on track because with so many students, things can get a bit hectic. It’s not a quiet, sleepy campus; it’s a real city college. People come here because it’s easy to get to and it’s right in the thick of things in Bandra. We just keep the place running, dealing with the daily Mumbai heat and the rain when the monsoon hits. It’s just how life is here at the complex on Carter Road, year after year.
