Rivaaz Restaurant

Rivaaz Restaurant is situated inside The Sahil Hotel on Belasis Road. This part of Mumbai Central is always crowded and there is a lot of movement outside. We are right across from the City Central Mall, so we see a lot of people carrying shopping bags. The restaurant is not huge, but we have managed to fit enough tables for a decent crowd. We get a mix of hotel guests and people coming in from the street. The kitchen is right at the back and you can usually hear the sound of pans and the chefs talking. We serve the kind of food people around here like, mostly standard dishes that are familiar to everyone. It is not a place where you need to dress up fancy. Most of the time it is families or groups of friends sitting around. The lighting is a bit dim in the evenings. We’ve had the same staff for a few years and they know how to handle the lunch rush when things get a bit chaotic. Sometimes the music is playing, sometimes it is just the noise of the city coming through the doors. We don't spend much on decorations or big signs. People find us because they are staying in the hotel or they are just nearby and hungry. We keep the tables wiped down and the water pitchers filled. It is just a regular restaurant in a busy part of Mumbai where you can get a meal.
