Rimas Fine Art Classes

If you find your way to 133-B in Chembur Oshiwara, you will see our little art space. Rimas Fine Art Classes isn’t a huge school or anything. It’s just a space where we have some tables and a lot of creative mess. We have paint stains on the floor and the desks are covered in pencil marks. It’s not a polished school with a big sign. We just have a small board outside. People come here to learn how to draw and paint, and we just show them what we know. There are jars of old brushes everywhere and the cupboards are full of paper and canvases. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a full class, but nobody seems to mind. Chembur is a nice place for this kind of thing because it’s a bit more relaxed than the center of the city. We don't have a strict curriculum or anything corporate. We just let people work on what they like. Sometimes we play a bit of music in the background, and we always have some biscuits to share. It’s been our life for quite a while now. We don't spend money on fancy ads. Most of our students come because they live nearby or heard about us from a friend. It’s just a simple, local art class where we enjoy what we do every single day.
