Rikanka & Co.

Rikanka & Co. is based out of Sakina Manzil on the first floor. We are at 324/330 Rajaram Mohan Roy Road, which is right in the Charni Road area. It is an old building with a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit creaky. We have been in this office for quite some time now. The ceiling is high and the windows are large, so we get a lot of light during the day. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of files. We do a lot of paperwork and administrative stuff. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a fancy modern office. We have old wooden cabinets and some fans that have been humming for years. The noise from the road can be quite loud, especially with the buses and taxis constantly honking. We get used to it after a while. Most of our work involves sitting at the computer or checking through documents. It is a bit tedious sometimes, but it needs to get done. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the city. When the day ends, we lock up the heavy wooden door and head home. We just keep our heads down and get through the pile on the desk each day.
