Our shop is tucked away at 403 Matru Chhaya on Narshi Natha Street. If you have ever been down this way, you know the streets are narrow and always full of people moving boxes and unloading trucks. It is a bit of a squeeze getting around. We mostly deal with furniture fittings, so the walls are lined with shelves full of hinges, handles, and all those small metal bits that hold cabinets together. It is a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes the dust from the street gets in and covers everything. We are not a big showroom with bright spotlights. It is more of a practical place where you come to find a specific screw or a bracket that you cannot find anywhere else. The building itself is an older one and the stairs can be a bit of a climb. We have a lot of regular contractors who come in and they usually just walk right back to where the stock is kept because they know the layout as well as we do. It is noisy because of the street outside and the clinking of metal parts inside, but it feels like home to us. We just keep our heads down and try to keep the inventory organized, even though it feels like a losing battle sometimes. It is just a normal business run by people who know their hardware.
