Rexnord Businesspagesctronics & Controls Ltd is based at Plot No. 92-D in the Government Industrial Estate in Charkop, Kandivali West. The estate is a huge area filled with all sorts of small factories and workshops. Our plot is a functional building where we handle all the electronics and control systems work. It’s an industrial setting, so you shouldn't expect anything fancy. The walls are painted a dull color, and the floors are hard concrete. We have benches set up for soldering and testing, and there is usually a smell of flux and heated metal in the air. The mornings start quite early here to beat the worst of the Mumbai heat, and by midday, the whole estate is humming with activity. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for years, so we all know the routine by heart. There is a lot of focus on the technical side of things, so most of our conversations are about circuits and components. We don't have a lobby with magazines or a receptionist; you just walk in and find someone at a bench if you need anything. It’s a hardworking environment where the goal is just to finish the day's batch of orders and make sure nothing is broken. It is a bit dusty and the fans are always on, but it is our workspace.
