Rex Beauty Parlour

Rex Beauty Parlour is situated on the ground floor of Rex Chambers, right on Walchand Harichand Marg. We are in the Fort area, specifically Ballard Estate, which has all those old, beautiful stone buildings. It’s quite a historic part of Mumbai. We are right opposite the Bhaghem India office, so it’s easy to find us if you are walking around here. The shop has a very practical feel to it. Since we are in an office district, we get a lot of people coming in during their lunch breaks or right after they finish work for the day. We try to work fast so they can get back to their schedules. It’s not a place where you spend all day lounging around. We have our regulars who like the way we do things. The building itself, Rex Chambers, has a lot of character, and we’ve tried to keep the parlour simple and functional. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for years and people know the name. It’s a bit different than the fancy salons in the malls. We focus on the basics and making sure the job is done right. If you’re in Fort and need a quick trim or a shave, we are usually here. It's a busy neighborhood but we keep our corner pretty calm.
