Residency Hotel

We are located right on the corner of Gunbow Street and D.N. Road. The address is 26 Gunbow Street in the Fort area. If you know Mumbai, you know this part of town is always buzzing with people and traffic. Our hotel is right in the middle of all that action. It’s an old building, like many others in Fort, and it has that specific feel you only get in South Mumbai. We have been here at 400001 for quite some time. The day starts early for us because the street noise kicks in around dawn. We focus on keeping the rooms clean and making sure the front desk is covered. It’s a busy spot, so we see a lot of travelers and business people. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow or the stairs feel steep, but that’s just how these older buildings are. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big marketing department. It's just a few of us making sure things work. Being on the corner of D.N. Road means we are easy to spot if you’re walking from the station. We spend our time fixing little things around the place and talking to the regulars. It can get loud outside with the taxis and the crowds, but once you’re inside, it’s a bit more settled. We just try to provide a roof over people's heads in a part of the city where space is hard to find.
