We've been at Narayan Plaza for quite a while now. It's a busy spot here on Chandivali Road in Andheri. Most days it's just us getting through the orders and making sure the machines are running like they should. Engineering isn't always pretty, but it's what we do. You'll usually find a few of us around the shop floor early in the morning. The industrial estate gets pretty loud once everyone starts up, but you get used to it. We handle a lot of different metal parts and technical work. It’s mostly just making things that fit together right. Sometimes the drawings are easy and sometimes they take a bit of head-scratching. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some shops closed down and new ones opened up, but we stayed right here at unit 31. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks and a lot of tools. If someone calls, we answer. If a part needs fixing, we look at it. It's straightforward work. No one here wears a suit unless they have to for a wedding or something. We just focus on the engineering side of things and try to get the jobs out the door on time. The traffic on Chandivali Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap up before the rush hits. It's a decent place to work and we know the people around here. That's about it for us.
