Reliance Engineering Associates Ltd is based out of 601, A2-14, Nityanand in Mumbai. Living and working in Maharashtra, especially in a city as packed as Mumbai, means you get used to the noise and the pace pretty quick. Our office is up on the sixth floor, which gives us a bit of a break from the street level chaos down below. Engineering is what we do day in and day out. It’s a lot of sitting at computers, checking numbers, and making sure the designs actually make sense for the real world. We aren't some massive corporate headquarters with glass walls and fancy suits; it’s more about getting the technical work done correctly so things don't go wrong later on. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow or acting up, so we wait or take the stairs if we're in a hurry. The team here knows the routine well. We’ve been at this address for a while and the locals recognize the name by now. It’s not always easy work, and sometimes the deadlines get a bit tight, but we manage to stay on top of things. Most of the time, the office is just full of blueprints and half-empty coffee mugs. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just an engineering firm trying to do decent work from our spot here in Nityanand. It gets incredibly humid in the summer, but the fans keep us going while we work through the drawings and the daily paperwork.
