Reliable Transport Of India

Our office is at 206 Chinch Bunder, inside the Commercial Manor on P K L Road. Chinch Bunder is one of those places that feels like it’s constantly moving. Reliable Transport Of India has been operating out of this room for quite a bit. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on truck schedules. We have maps and clipboards all over the walls. The building itself, Commercial Manor, has that old commercial feel to it with heavy doors and narrow hallways. We spend most of our day talking to drivers and making sure the logs are updated. It’s not very glamorous work. There is always a layer of paper on every desk. P K L Road stays packed with vehicles, so there is a lot of honking that we hear through the windows. We don't really bother with decorating the place much. We just need a working phone and a place to sit. Sometimes we have to stay late to wait for a confirmation on a load. It’s the kind of job where you are always waiting on something or someone. We know the other people in the building, and we see the same faces every day. It’s a community of transport folks around here. We just do our bit and keep the files moving from one side of the desk to the other. There is always another truck coming in soon.
