Rekord Trading & Manufacturing Limited

We’re tucked away at 137, Udyog Bhavan in Goregaon East. If you’ve ever been to this building, you know it’s a hive of activity with all sorts of businesses crammed into the different units. Rekord Trading & Manufacturing Limited takes up one of those spaces. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, and the elevators can be slow when everyone is trying to move goods at the same time. We’ve spent a lot of years in this unit, and it’s seen better days, but it’s where we do our best work. There is always a stack of crates or some paperwork waiting to be dealt with. We aren’t really the type to sit around in suits; we’re usually in the middle of sorting through trading orders or checking on the manufacturing side of things. Goregaon has changed so much around us, with new buildings going up everywhere, but Udyog Bhavan stays pretty much the same. It’s got that old-school industrial feel that we’ve grown to like. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anyone to bring you coffee. Usually, we just meet people right there among the boxes. It’s a busy, sometimes loud, but very real way to run a business. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the day’s tasks finished before the building starts to quiet down in the evening.
