Reena Chem

Reena Chem is located at number 13 in Sanghvi Bhuvan. We are tucked away in the 1St Mamletdar Wadi in Malad (West). It’s a bit of a maze if you don’t know the area, with all the small lanes and shops packed together. Our office is just a simple room where we handle the daily business of chemical trading. It’s not a very modern space; we still have old wooden desks and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But it’s where we’ve done our work for years, so it feels like home to us. The area outside is always buzzing with activity, people selling things on the street and motorcycles weaving through the traffic. It gets very loud in the afternoons, but we just keep the door closed and get on with our tasks. We handle various chemical products, mostly focusing on the local market here in Mumbai. There are usually three or four of us in the office at any time, checking orders and talking to suppliers. We don't have any big mission statements or fancy slogans on the wall. We just try to get the numbers right and make sure the deliveries go out on time. Sometimes we stay late when the paperwork piles up, especially at the end of the month. It’s just a regular small business, making our way through the day-to-day grind in Malad. We know most of the neighbors by now, which makes it feel like a real community.
