Redz Salon

Redz Salon is tucked away at 4 Manju Villa on 246 Waterfield Road. We’ve been here in Bandra West for a good bit now. This part of Mumbai, the 400050 area, is always moving fast. Our shop is right on the street level, so it’s easy to find if you’re walking down Waterfield Road. It’s not a massive space, but it works for what we do. We mostly spend our time cutting hair and chatting with the people who live around here. Bandra has a lot of energy, and we see all sorts of people coming through the door. Some days are quieter than others, but there’s usually someone in a chair. We didn’t want anything too corporate, so the vibe is just relaxed. The walls have a bit of character and the lighting is okay. We focus on the basics. If someone wants their hair shortened or styled, we just get to work. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We like the location because everything is close by. Being at Manju Villa feels like being part of the old neighborhood even as things change around us. There’s no big sales pitch here. We just keep our tools ready and wait for the next person to walk in.
