Our office is tucked away in Gala Number 2/3 inside Mustafa Market. It is right on the 90 Andheri East Gill Road. If you know where Tofa Hotel is, then you can find us easily. This transport business is mostly about phones ringing and keeping track of where the trucks are. It gets very busy in the mornings when the loaders are moving stuff around the market. The air is always full of diesel smells and people shouting directions. We have been in this spot for a long time. The office is small and filled with ledgers and old receipts piled up on the desks. It is not the cleanest place because of all the traffic outside. We deal with all kinds of goods going to different parts of the country. Sometimes a driver gets stuck in traffic or a tire goes flat, and then everything gets delayed. We just sit here and try to fix the schedules. The tea guy from near the hotel comes by twice a day, and that is usually when we take a small break. It is hard work managing all the paperwork and making sure things reach where they need to go. We don't use any fancy software, just our notebooks and memory. The market can be a bit overwhelming for some people, but we are used to the noise and the constant movement of vehicles and people. We just keep moving things from one place to another.
