Redsun Freight Carriers

Redsun Freight Carriers operates out of Gala No 1 and 2 in the N S Niwas building. We are located in Andheri East right in the middle of the medicine market area. If you know the way to Shivaji Nagar you have probably passed by us without even realizing it. Our space is basically a big garage and a small office where we manage all the freight moving in and out every day. There are always trucks idling nearby and the smell of diesel is just part of the atmosphere here. We handle all sorts of cargo but being in the medicine market means we see a lot of pharmaceutical boxes. It is a lot of loading and unloading and making sure the drivers have the right papers so they do not get stopped by the authorities. The phone rings a lot with people asking where their stuff is and we have to check the logs to give them an answer. It gets very crowded in the gala when a lot of shipments arrive at the same time. We do not have fancy furniture or a reception desk just some old wooden tables and chairs that have seen better days. The work is mostly about timing and making sure the wheels keep turning. Sometimes we stay late because a truck got stuck in traffic and we have to wait for it to arrive. It is a tough business but it is what we do and we have been here for a while.
