Real Rest House

Our place is right there on Telli Galli in Andheri East, just off the busy Kurla Road. If you've ever walked past the Imperial Hotel, you've probably seen us across the way. It’s a hectic part of Mumbai, let’s be honest. There is always someone dragging a suitcase or a rickshaw honking right outside the door at all hours. We started this rest house because people always need a spot to put their bags down and sleep for a night or two without spending a fortune. It’s not a five-star hotel with a pool or a gym, just a regular building with rooms and beds. We spend a lot of our time changing sheets and making sure the fans are working properly because the heat here can be something else. Usually, the staff is busy checking people in or telling them where the nearest train station is. We get people from all over, some staying for a night before a flight and others here for work in the city. The walls aren't super thick, so you hear the city life outside, but that’s just how it is in Andheri. We don’t have a big fancy lobby, just a desk and a chair where someone is usually sitting. It’s practical and it works for people who just need a roof over their heads while they are passing through. We’ve been at this spot for years and know most of the tea sellers nearby.
