We operate out of the Ramjiwa Building, specifically under the care of Dalichand Nagoji. The business is called Rb Jewellers Kalyan Private Limited. Even though 'Kalyan' is in our name, this is where we do our main work in this part of town. It’s an old-style building, the kind where you know all the people in the neighboring offices by name. Our setup is quite traditional. We don't have a website or any of those modern things that most companies have these days. We just have our desks, our ledgers, and our tools. Most of our business comes from long-standing relationships we’ve built up over the years. It’s a bit cramped in the office sometimes because we have a lot of files and old boxes piled up. We spend most of the day talking to craftsmen and making sure the jewellery pieces are being made correctly. It’s not a glamorous job, despite what people think about the jewellery world. It’s a lot of checking, re-checking, and making sure the numbers match. We often have tea delivered from the stall downstairs. It’s a small, family-like atmosphere here. We just try to stay honest and do our work without making too much of a fuss. If someone needs to find us, they usually just ask around the building. That’s how we like it, just keeping things quiet and steady every single day for the people who know us.
