Raymond Apparel Limited

This branch of Raymond Apparel is located in Bhandup West, Mumbai. We’re in the Shivneri Sadan building, unit 7/1, on G.D. Road in Tulshet Pada. It’s a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight and everyone is always on the move. Being in Bhandup means we are right in the middle of a very busy residential and industrial mix. Our workspace isn't fancy. It’s functional and a bit crowded with rolls of material and paperwork. We don’t have a big marketing department here; it’s just us doing the daily tasks of the apparel trade. The walk from the station can be a bit long when it’s raining, but we’re used to it. The people in our office have been working in the garment industry for a long time. We know how things work on the ground level. We don't talk about "visions" or "missions"—we just talk about getting the shipments out and making sure the quality is what it should be. G.D. Road is always loud with traffic, but it’s a good spot for us. It’s an honest way to make a living in a big city like Mumbai. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. We focus on the boxes leaving the door and the machines keeping up the pace. It’s just regular life in Mumbai for us. We stay busy and we stay focused.
