Ravinas

You can find Ravinas up on the first floor of an old building in the Fort area. We are in Room No 2, right across from Mapla House. It is one of those classic South Mumbai buildings with the heavy wooden doors and narrow, winding hallways. We’ve been working out of this room for quite some time now. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for the small sign by the stairs. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a couple of old metal cupboards, and a lot of papers stacked up. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People just walk in and we talk across the desks about what they need. The windows are usually open to let some air in, so you hear all the honking and noise from the street below. It gets pretty dusty because of all the traffic. We deal with our daily tasks, mostly just handling the paperwork and orders that come through. We drink way too much tea during the day. Sometimes the internet goes a bit slow when it’s raining hard outside. It’s a quiet life up here compared to the chaos on the ground floor. We know most of the other people who work in the building. It’s just a practical office space where we get our work done without much fuss. We don’t do any big promotions. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years.
