Rashtriya Rasayan

Down in Masjid Bunder West, things are always moving fast. Rashtriya Rasayan is up on the 4th floor of Parshwanath Bhuv, at number 31, 99. It’s an old building, the kind with thick walls and high ceilings, and we have been here for a long time. The market downstairs is always packed with trucks and people hauling goods, so getting up to the office can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We deal with chemicals and industrial supplies, so the office is mostly full of ledgers and sample jars. It’s a bit dusty, and the fans on the ceiling hum all day long to keep the air moving. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just a few of us who know the trade. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out orders for the local factories. There’s no fancy furniture here, just old wooden desks that have seen better days. We like it that way because it feels like a real place of work. Most of our customers have been buying from us for years, so we don't need to do much explaining. We just take the order and get it processed. It’s honest, busy work in the heart of the old city, and we just keep at it. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish the logs, but that's just how the chemical business goes around here. We just handle it.
