Rashmi Trading Co

Rashmi Trading Co is tucked away on the 2nd floor at 310/312 Mandvi. If you have been to Mandvi, you know how the buildings are. They are older and the stairs can be a bit of a climb, especially when we are moving goods up and down. Our space isn't huge, but it's where we manage all the trading activities. It is mostly boxes, ledgers, and a couple of desks that have seen better days. We don't see the point in having a polished corporate office when most of our work involves checking stock and making calls. The atmosphere in Mandvi is always loud and full of energy, and that spills into our office too. You can hear the carts and the people on the street below all day long. We started here because it’s a central spot for trade, and we’ve stayed because it works for us. It’s a practical arrangement. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall; we just have a calendar and a list of things to do. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery is late, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's a very human way to run a business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with our titles or our office furniture. We just do the trading work that needs to be done.
