If you are walking down Charni Road, you can find us right across from the Girgaum Church. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so we don't usually have to give much more direction than that. Rank Crafts has been operating out of this spot for quite some time. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot of things into the space we have. You’ll see shelves stacked with all sorts of handmade items and local crafts. Some days are quieter than others, especially when the rain starts coming down hard. We spend those slow hours reorganizing the back or fixing up displays that got a bit messy. It’s just a few of us working here, so we do everything from sweeping the floors to answering the old landline phone. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just a local business where we know most of the people who walk through the door. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to raise our voices to be heard, but that is just part of being in this area. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. If something isn't in stock, we tell you. If we can get it later, we will. It is a humble place, and we like it that way. We just keep doing what we do, day after day, trying to keep the shelves filled with interesting things for the neighbors to see.
