Ramesh Nilkantha Pardhiye

I’m located over in Parel, specifically on the 1st Floor of Anandi Laddga, number 17. It’s a traditional kind of building and I’ve been here for quite a while now. My work keeps me fairly occupied throughout the week. I usually get in around nine and stay until the evening lights come on outside. The office is just a few rooms where we keep our records and meet people who need our help. It’s nothing like those modern offices you see in the new parts of town. We have old wooden desks and shelves that are starting to show their age, but they work just as well as new ones. I grew up in a small town and moved here for work, and I’ve stayed in Parel ever since. I like the history of this area and how it still feels a bit like the old Mumbai. People stop by to drop off papers or just to say hello on their way home. I handle the business in a way that is fair and clear. I don't like using complicated words or making things sound harder than they are. If you have a problem, we sit down and look at it until we find a way forward. It’s a simple way to operate and it has worked for me for all these years. This place is just where I belong.
