Ramdev Mobile Centre

If you are walking around the 2nd Block near the 14th Cross in Chembur, you’ll find us easily enough. Ramdev Mobile Centre has been sitting here for quite some time. It is a small shop, maybe smaller than you’d expect, but we pack a lot of stuff into the shelves. Most of the day is spent looking down at small screens or trying to find a specific charging cable for someone who lost theirs. The shop gets a bit warm in the summer because the fan doesn't always reach the back corner where the repair tools are kept. We have a lot of regulars who just stop by to say hello or ask a quick question about their data plan. It’s a neighborhood place, really. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here by the cross road. Sometimes we have stacks of boxes on the floor because a new shipment of covers came in and we haven't had a chance to put them away yet. It can be a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Working in Chembur is good because it’s always lively and there is always something going on outside the door. We just try to do a decent job with the phones and keep things moving along without making things complicated for anyone who walks in. It’s just how we run things here in the block.
