The office is in Maker Tower-E, right in the middle of Cuffe Parade at number 181. It’s a pretty well-known building in this part of town. Rama Cylinders Pvt Ltd deals with industrial stuff, specifically high-pressure cylinders, which sounds a bit intense but our daily office life is actually quite calm. From our windows, we get a decent view of the surroundings, which is a nice break from looking at computer screens all day. We spend a lot of time on the phone with factories and shipping companies. It’s a lot of coordinating and making sure that nothing gets stuck in transit. The team is professional but we aren't stuffy about it. Most of us have been in this industry for a long time, so we know the ropes pretty well. We don't have a lot of meetings for the sake of having meetings. We just talk across the desks when something needs to be sorted out. It’s an efficient way to work without wasting time. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just supply cylinders to people who need them for their own businesses. The office is comfortable, but it’s definitely a place meant for working rather than lounging. We arrive in the morning, do what needs to be done, and head home to our families. It’s a good, honest way to make a living, and we’re happy to be doing it here.
