Ram Ji Enterprise

Ram Ji Enterprise is located in Mangalam House, which is at 38 Walchand Hirachand Marg. We’re right near the G.P.O. in the Fort area of Mumbai. If you’ve ever walked around here, you know how busy it gets with the office crowds and the heritage buildings. Our office is a small part of this old house, and it’s packed with files and stock. The high ceilings are nice, but the space feels tight when we have a lot of deliveries coming in. Being so close to the post office is handy for us because we’re always sending things out. The streets outside are usually full of people and taxis, so it’s never quiet. We have a couple of old fans that hum all day to keep the air moving. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls or anything. It’s more of a traditional Mumbai office where everyone knows their job and just gets on with it. We handle a variety of items and keep the ledger updated by hand mostly. The staff here has been together for a long time, and we’re used to the frantic pace of the Fort district. Sometimes we stand out by the door just to get a bit of fresh air and watch the world go by. It’s an honest way to make a living in a very old and historic part of the city.
