You can find us in Ghatkopar at number 8. It’s a small shop, but we have managed to fit a lot into the space. The glass counters are full of different phone models and accessories like covers and screen protectors. It gets very bright in here because of the overhead lights we use to see the small parts inside the phones. We spend a lot of time sitting behind the counter. People come in all day asking for recharges or wanting to fix a cracked screen. Ghatkopar is always moving, so there is a lot of noise from the street coming through the door. We have a small stool for customers to sit on while they wait. Often, we are juggling three things at once, like talking on the phone and trying to peel off an old sticker. It’s not a fancy place with leather chairs. It’s just a practical shop for people who need their phones sorted out. We keep a small radio playing in the background to pass the time. My cousin helps out in the evenings when it gets really crowded. We know most of the people who live in the buildings around here. They stop by just to say hello sometimes. We don't have a big sign, just the name on the glass. We’ve been here for years and we plan to stay right where we are.
