Ram Cell Point

Ram Cell Point is tucked away in Ghatkopar 8. It’s a small shop, maybe smaller than you’d think from the name. We handle all kinds of cell phone stuff here. If someone has a broken screen or a battery that won't charge, they usually come find us. The workspace in the back is a bit cluttered with screwdrivers and tiny screws that are easy to lose. We spend a lot of time looking through magnifying glasses. In the front, we have a few shelves with covers and some of the newer phone models. Ghatkopar 8 is a lively area, so there is always something happening outside the door. We have a small television in the corner that we keep on for the news or just some background noise. The walls were painted white once, but now they are more of a dull cream color. It doesn't matter much to us. We are more focused on the work. People from the neighborhood stop by just to say hello sometimes. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate talk. We just fix what's broken and sell what's on the shelf. The stool behind the counter is a bit wobbly, so you have to sit on it just right. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of the city and we have been at it for years.
