Raksha Hospital

People usually find us on the first floor of the Asmita Jyoti building. We are right there at D/11 on Marve Road in Malad West. It is a busy part of Mumbai, so there is always a lot of noise coming from the street below. The hospital itself is a straightforward place. We have a reception desk where the staff handles all the paperwork and registers the people coming in. The hallways are narrow but we keep them very clean. Most of the nurses and the helpers have been working here for years, so they know how everything runs. We don't have fancy lights or expensive furniture, just the beds and equipment needed for a hospital. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. The windows look out over the shops on Marve Road. Every morning starts with the same routine of checking the supplies and making sure the rooms are ready. It's just a regular local hospital where we do our daily work. We see a lot of people from the nearby apartment blocks coming in for various reasons. The staff spends most of their shift on their feet, moving between the different wards and the small office area. It gets quite busy during the afternoons when the local clinics refer people over to us. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep things moving along without making a big fuss about it.
