Rajvi Shipping Agency

We operate out of Block No 36/B in the Bhanushali Building. This is right in the Fort area, which is always packed with people and old buildings. We are very close to the Government Post Office, so we see the mail vans going past all day long. Rajvi Shipping Agency deals with all the stuff that comes with moving goods and handling the paperwork that the port requires. It is a lot of back and forth, honestly. The building itself has that old Mumbai feel, with high ceilings and thick walls. We have stacks of files everywhere because there is always something to track or a form to fill out. It is not a very quiet job. We are often out and about or talking to people at the customs office. Fort is a good place for a shipping agency because everything is nearby, even if the streets are narrow and hard to navigate sometimes. We have a few desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It is mostly just us working hard to make sure things get to where they are supposed to go without too much trouble. We take our tea breaks when we can. It is a steady life and we know the rhythms of the docks and the post office well by now. The fans hum all day and we just keep pushing through the folders on our desks.
