You can find us at Shop 1/2 on M G Road in Borivali East. We are right opposite the S T Depot, which is always busy. There are people rushing for buses all day long and some of them pop in for a quick meal before their journey. It’s a lively spot to be in Mumbai. Being on M G Road means there’s never a quiet moment. We’ve been running Rajus Kitchen Restaurant here for a while and we’ve seen the area change a lot. The shop isn't very big, but we make it work. We get a lot of commuters who are tired after a long day and just want something hot to eat. We try to keep the pace fast because we know people are usually in a hurry to catch their bus or get home. It’s a simple operation. We have a few staff members who have been with us since the start. We don't use any fancy tricks, just regular cooking. Sometimes the noise from the depot is quite loud, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s a very local Borivali experience. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel. We are just a kitchen on the corner of a busy road. People seem to appreciate that we are consistent and that we stay open late enough for the last bus crowd to get something.
