Our office is in Room No 4 of Boman House. It’s on 2 Homji Street in the Colaba area, right on New Vip Road. If you are looking for P N B House, we are just near there. Being in Colaba means the buildings are old and have a lot of character, and Boman House is no different. It has those high ceilings and thick walls that keep things a bit cooler, though we still need the fans on high. As Rajkumar Freight Forwarders, we deal with a lot of shipping talk and paperwork. There are always stacks of documents about containers and transport schedules sitting on the tables. The room is a bit small for all the things we try to keep in it. You can hear the city life outside quite clearly because the windows are old style. We spend most of our hours tracking where things are going and making sure the logs are updated. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of checking and re-checking details. Sometimes the hallways of the building are quiet, and other times it’s a mess of people moving around. We’ve grown accustomed to the way the floorboards creak when you walk to the back of the room. It is just a practical space for us to handle the logistics stuff we do every day without any unnecessary fuss. We usually have a few boxes in the corner that haven't been picked up yet, and the smell of old paper is everywhere.
