Our office is in the Shardha Building on the 1st floor, right at 108/9 Kazi Sayed Street. That street is always packed with people and carts, so getting anything in or out is a bit of a chore. Rajkamal Cargo Movers Co is basically a small team of us working in a room full of boxes and old desks. We handle cargo for all sorts of people around here. The building is old and has that specific smell of paper and dust. We don't have any big signs or fancy lights. Usually, we are just busy checking lists and making sure the loaders know what they are doing. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the window for some light. It is a very basic way of doing things but it has worked for us for years. Kazi Sayed Street is the heart of the trading area, so we are right where we need to be. We don’t have a website that looks professional or anything. We just talk to people face to face. If something is heavy, we figure out a way to move it. That is the whole job. It’s tiring and my back hurts some days, but that is just part of it. We keep a large calendar on the wall with everything scribbled in pencil so we can erase and change things easily if a shipment gets cancelled.
