Rajeev Ajmera Printers

You can find us at Building Number 90, in that Room Numbe over in Gokhale Nagar, which is in Ghatkopar East. We’re right across from the IIT Main Gate, near Kalyani Tower. It’s a lively spot with all the students and staff moving around. Rajeev Ajmera Printers is a small operation. We’ve got our machines set up here, and they’re usually humming away for most of the day. We do a lot of different printing jobs, from simple black and white copies to bigger projects that take more time. It’s a lot of handling paper, checking ink levels, and making sure the alignment is right. The smell of ink is pretty much part of the furniture now. We don't have a big front office; it's mostly just the workspace where the actual printing happens. People bring in their files on thumb drives or send them over, and we get to work. Sometimes the machines get jammed, which is a pain, but we know how to fix them quickly. It’s a practical business. We don’t have any grand slogans. We just focus on getting the pages printed and stacked neatly. Being near the IIT gate means we get a lot of variety in what we print, from reports to posters. We’ve been in this spot for a while and know the local rhythms. It’s a busy life, but we like the work. We just take it one job at a time, making sure the final stack is ready when the customer walks back in.
