People often ask how long we have been here on Jackeria Bunder Road. Honestly, the years just blend together when you are busy. Being right by the Cotton Green Railway Station means there is always noise and people rushing around. We see commuters every single day, some just passing through and others staying for a bit while they work in this part of Mumbai. It is not a fancy area, just a lot of old buildings and the sound of trains. Our building at number 19 has seen its fair share of weather. We keep the doors open and try to keep things running as smoothly as possible for anyone who stops in. The staff here mostly knows the neighborhood like the back of their hands. If someone needs a direction or just a place to sit for a minute, they end up here. We don't do much in the way of big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks find us because they are coming off the platform or they live nearby. The rooms are what they are, simple and meant for sleeping.
