You can find Raja Veg Restaurant at Patanwala Mahal on Patanwala Road in Byculla. We’re quite close to Rani Baug, which is the big zoo everyone knows. Being in an old building like Patanwala Mahal gives the place a certain kind of character, I guess. It’s not a shiny new tower, but it does the job for us. Byculla is a busy area with a lot of history, and we’ve been part of this street for a while now. We only serve veg food here, keeping things straightforward for the local crowd. On weekends, we get a lot of families who are visiting the gardens nearby. During the week, it’s mostly people working in the area or living in the old buildings around us. The road outside can get a bit congested, but that’s just how Mumbai is. We don’t have any fancy signs or big ads. People just know we’re here. Inside, it’s just plain tables and some fans to keep the air moving. We try to keep the place tidy, but it's an old structure, so it has its quirks. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads further out. We just show up every day, prep the vegetables, and wait for the lunch rush. It’s honest work in a part of the city that still feels like the old days. No frills, just veg food and a place to sit. That is how we run things every day of the week.
