Our little shop is sitting right in Powai Puna Gam, at G1. It is not a very big space, but it is enough for what we do with mobile phones. Every day is pretty much the same routine. I get here, open up, and check if the internet is working okay for the recharges. The area around here stays busy because of the other shops nearby. We get a lot of dust coming in from the road, so wiping down the glass counters is a never-ending job. I usually have the radio playing softly in the corner to pass the time when no customers are inside. Most people who come in are looking for a quick fix for their screens or maybe a new cover for their phone. We have a lot of different cases hanging on the walls. Some of them have been there too long, I think. The stools we have for people to sit on are a bit wobbly, but they serve the purpose. Living and working in Powai means you get used to the constant hum of people talking and bikes zooming past. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to move the displays back a bit so they don't get damp. It is just a regular shop where we try to stay busy and help out the folks who live around G1. Nothing too complicated about it, just me and the phones and the daily traffic.
