Raj Chemicals

Raj Chemicals is tucked away in Mulund West. We operate out of Flat No 604, E/1 Wing, Highlan. It’s a bit unusual to have a chemical business in a place like this, but it works for our administrative side. Most of our day is spent dealing with suppliers and customers over the phone or through emails. We keep a lot of records in big ledgers and the filing cabinets are starting to overflow. The Highlan building is a decent place, and we’ve been here long enough that everyone knows who we are. We aren’t a big factory or anything; this is where the planning and the paperwork happen. It’s usually quiet except for the sound of the printer or someone typing away. Sometimes the elevator in the wing acts up, and we have to walk up all those floors, which isn't fun when you're carrying a lot of papers or samples. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the desk disappears under a mountain of notes. We’ve built up some good relationships over the years just by being honest and doing what we say we’ll do. There are no corporate slogans here, just a few people trying to run a business properly. We don't have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering calls to fixing the internet when it goes down. It is just a steady way to live.
