You can find our office on the first floor of the Devkara building in Masjid Bunder West. We are in Office Number 6. This whole area, Pada Pole, is very tight and crowded with people and handcarts moving everywhere. It’s right opposite Balkrishna Chambers. If you’ve ever been to Masjid Bunder, you know how hectic it gets. We deal with various chemicals and colors here. The office is small and filled with ledgers and sample bottles. It’s an old building, so the stairs are a bit narrow and the walls have that aged look. We don't mind it, though. It’s the heart of the market and being here means we are close to everything. The noise from the street is constant—horns honking and people shouting—but we’ve worked here so long we barely notice it anymore. We spend our days talking to suppliers and customers who come in from the market. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, face to face or over a quick tea. We don't have any corporate protocols. If someone comes in, we just talk and see what they need. It’s practical and works for us. The air here always smells a bit like spices and chemicals from the surrounding shops. It’s a real, living part of the city and we are glad to be in it. We just keep things moving as best as we can every day.
