Raigad Engineers

Raigad Engineers is over in Goregaon East at 27 C. It is a straightforward engineering spot where we deal with a lot of mechanical parts and technical drawings. The area in Goregaon is always humming with some kind of activity or construction. Our space at 27 C isn't very large so we have to be careful with how we store our tools and equipment. We have some heavy workbenches and a few stools that have seen better days. It’s the kind of place where you might get a bit of grease on your shirt if you aren't careful. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website person. It’s just us looking at specs and making sure the parts are made correctly. The floor is concrete and it gets a bit cold in the winter months, though it’s mostly just humid. We have an old computer for the emails and a lot of paper notebooks for the measurements. People from around the neighborhood know where we are if they need something fixed or fabricated. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations because that doesn't help with the engineering work. We just show up, do the jobs that are on the list, and close up in the evening. It’s a simple workshop environment where we focus on the task at hand and try to keep everything running.
