Raia Jewellery Pvt Ltd

Our shop is tucked away in Abhvudaya Nagar, specifically at 11/11 A in the S K Colony. We are right across from the old Hakoba Mills. Raia Jewellery has been a part of this neighborhood for a good while. It’s not a big fancy store like the ones you see in the malls. We have our workbenches and some display cases that have seen better days. A few of us sit here and work on the pieces by hand. It can be slow work, and our eyes get tired by the end of the day, but we like it. The street outside is usually full of kids playing or people heading to the market. We know most of our customers by name because they live just down the road. They come in for small repairs or to get something made for a wedding. We don't use much technology; we still do a lot of things the old way. The shop gets a bit crowded when more than three people come in at once. We just keep our heads down and focus on the gold and stones. It’s a quiet life, mostly. We’re happy to be here in the colony. The light is good in the mornings for the detailed work. We’ve been here so long that the mill across the way feels like part of our own backyard. It's just a simple, local business. We keep the tea kettle going for when regulars drop by for a chat.
