This office for Ragi Impex Pvt. Ltd. is at 305, Niranjan, 99, Marine Drive. Even though it's at such a famous address, the office itself is pretty basic. It’s on the third floor of the Niranjan building. We have a view of the street, and if you lean out a bit, you can see the ocean, but mostly we are just looking at our screens and stacks of paper. The building is old and has that classic Mumbai feel, with heavy wooden doors and high ceilings that keep it relatively cool. We share the floor with a few other firms. Inside, it’s just a bunch of desks pushed together and a lot of wires running along the floor. We spend our days mostly on the phone or typing out emails to vendors. The breeze from the sea is nice when we open the windows, but the salt air messes with the electronics sometimes. We don't have any fancy carpets or modern art on the walls. It’s just a place to get the work done. Lunch usually involves walking down to one of the small joints nearby or just eating at the desk while finishing a report. It’s a bit quieter here than at our other locations, but the work is just as steady. We’ve been here for a long time, and the daily routine hasn't changed much. It’s a solid spot for us to handle our exports.
