Our unit is in the Merchant Industrial Estate, Building Number 1. We are situated at Number 1/12, right opposite the Golani Complex in Waliv. This is out in Vasai Road East, in the Thane district. The industrial estate is quite a large area, so you have to look for the building number carefully. We manufacture and supply surgical items from this location. It is a workspace with machines and packing tables everywhere. The air smells a bit like metal and plastic most of the time. We aren't a corporate office with carpets and air conditioning in every room. It’s a real factory environment where we get our hands dirty. We have a small team of workers who know exactly what they are doing. We mostly deal with bulk orders for distributors. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate, but we just wait it out and get back to work. Living and working in Vasai has its own pace. It is busy but not like the main city. We just focus on making sure the products are made correctly and sent out on time. There's no fancy talk here, just hard work and keeping the machines running. We have been here for years and we know how the business works. It is noisy and crowded, but it is ours.
