R R Roadlines

Our office is tucked away at 202 Kalyan Street inside Rohan Nilay which is part of the Vardhman Chamber building. R R Roadlines has been operating out of this spot for a good number of years now. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls every single day. We mostly spend our time talking to drivers and making sure the trucks are where they are supposed to be. The desk is always covered in logbooks and receipts from various trips across the state. It gets a bit hectic when a shipment is delayed but that’s just part of the transport business I guess. We don’t have a huge fleet but the trucks we do have stay on the road quite a bit. Kalyan Street is always busy so there is always noise coming in through the windows. We usually have tea brought in from the stall downstairs twice a day to keep us going through the afternoon slump. Most of our clients are people we have known for a long time. They call us up when they have something heavy that needs moving from one city to another. We just write it down in the ledger and get to work. It is a straightforward way to make a living. There aren’t any corporate meetings or fancy presentations here. Just us, the phones, and the road schedules that we try our best to keep up with every day.
