R K Exports

R K Exports is based in the Navjeevan Building, room 205. The address is 125/12 in Masjid Bunder West. We are really close to the Bank of Baroda branch there. This area is always incredibly crowded with trucks and people moving goods around. It’s the heart of the trading district, so it’s never quiet. We work from our office on the second floor, dealing with paperwork and coordinating shipments. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of counting and checking lists. We’ve been in Masjid Bunder for years, so we are used to the chaos and the narrow streets. The building is old but it works for us. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know how the export business works. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to transporters. We don't put on any acts or try to look bigger than we are. We are just a small export house trying to get things moved from one place to another. It’s a lot of manual tracking and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. Sometimes the power goes out or the phones are down, but we just deal with it. People know us at the bank nearby because we are there almost every day. It’s a tough area to work in because of the traffic, but we like being right where the action is every single day.
