R D Auto Lights

Down here in Worli West, things move pretty fast. We’ve got this small shop where we deal with all kinds of auto lights. Headlights, blinkers, tail lights—if it glows on a car, we probably have it or can fix it. It’s a niche thing, but you’d be surprised how often people break a bulb or crack a casing. The sea breeze comes in sometimes, which is nice during the humid months. Our shelves are stacked pretty high with boxes, and it can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two customers come in at once. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know our way around a wiring harness. Sometimes the newer cars have these complicated LED setups that take a bit longer to figure out. We just take our time and make sure the connection is solid. It’s better to do it right once than have someone come back because their indicator stopped blinking halfway home. Worli is a good place to be, even if the rent is a bit high. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot. We keep the kettle going for tea in the afternoons. It’s a simple life, but we like helping people see where they're going at night. We’re not a big corporation, just some local guys who know about lights and bulbs and wires. It stays busy enough to keep us on our toes every day.
