Quick Ways Communication Centre

You can find Quick Ways Communication Centre at Dockyard Road 41. It’s a busy part of the city with the trains passing by and people constantly on the move. We’ve been here for years, watching the city grow and change from our little front window. The shop itself is nothing special to look at, just a place with some desks and phones where we handle the daily business. We get a lot of people coming in from the station, usually in a hurry. We’ve learned to work fast because nobody has much time to waste around here. It’s a bit of a noisy spot, but you get used to the sound of the tracks after a while. We don’t have a big team or a human resources department. It’s just a few of us who have known each other for a long time. We take care of the paperwork, help people with their calls or messages, and make sure everything stays running. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the rain leaks in a little, but we just deal with it and move on. We aren't trying to be the biggest centre in Mumbai. We just want to be the place where local people can get their stuff done without any hassle. It's practical, it’s local, and it’s how we’ve always done it. There is a small shelf of old directories and papers that we should probably throw away, but they've been there forever.
