Our location is over in Mazgaon, specifically at Bpt Plot No 268 on Darukhana Lane. It’s an area that feels very industrial and close to the docks. You can smell the salt and the old metal in the air around here. Pyar Mohamed Dilip & Co. has been part of this landscape for quite some time now. We aren't located in one of those new business parks; it’s more of a gritty, working-class spot. The road near Sion Koliwada can get very congested with heavy lorries and scrap metal trucks. Inside our space, it’s mostly about managing the materials and keeping track of what’s coming in and going out. We don’t have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and maybe a dusty clock. It’s the kind of place where you don’t mind getting your hands a bit dirty. Most of our day is spent talking to laborers or checking on the inventory in the yard. It’s a tough environment but the people here are hardworking. We don't really do any advertising. People find us because they’ve been sent by someone else who knows our name. It’s a traditional way of doing business that still works in Darukhana. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay out of the midday heat when we can. It’s just a normal day of manual coordination and basic trade for us.
